Professional Background
Meghna Datta is a Registered Psychologist with a background in supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families across a range of mental health and community settings. Meghna experience spans both government and private sectors, including work in child protection, corrective services, disability services, and therapeutic support roles.

Meghna's practice is grounded in neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and person-centred approaches. Meghna works with neurodivergent individuals and value creating safe, validating spaces where people feel understood and supported.

Meghna's counselling style varies depending on the needs of the individual, as there isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” method. Therapeutically, Meghna draws on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based techniques—always adapting to suit each person's unique needs and goals.

Meghna aims to support clients in developing insight, building resilience, and working toward meaningful change. Meghna's approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on meeting people where they are in their journey.
